Rotationkörper at Neue Galerie Graz

We are proud to inaugurate Rotationskörper | Solids in Revolution, the first of two exhibitions coming out of the multi-year simularr research project. Curated by Günther Holler-Schuster and shown at the Studio space of Neue Galerie Graz, the exhibition not only gathers pieces and artefacts from two and half years of artistic research, but months long work specifically for the occasion, including my new sound installation Reticule (suspend) and an extended Assembly of Rogues (six intermedia entities, with Nayarí Castillo). Most collaborators of the project are present, including Nayarí with her installation Spells for Transformation, Elena Redaelli with an installation of objects and drawings, Daniele Pozzi with a sound sculpture, Charlotta Ruth, Andrea Bakketun and Emma Cocker with video pieces, Ludvig Elblaus with a computer graphics and sound piece, Franziska Hederer with a leporello of drawings, and Fulya Uçanok with a research diary and video experiments (one with Miguel Castillo). A further research pinboard includes contributions by simularr’s facilitators Susanne Bosch and Caroline Gatt.

The exhibition runs from 24 May till 21 September.
