A year of languaging

Sometimes affinities and magnetic forces appear around specific concepts and materials. For 2026, this may be the case with language, writing, and ‘languaging’. It was anticipated last autumn, when we set the topic of the second Forum Artistic Research symposium to be ‘suspended in language?’. I organise this forum together with my colleague Lucia D’Errico at Mahler university Klagenfurt end of June.

For years, I have also been following the SAR special interest group Language-based Artistic Research, and I am happy to travel to Vienna in early July for the Convocation III, bringing a version of the Medusa sound installation.

Over two years ago, I had realised the fourth iteration of the Writing… series, now I finally got to upload the documentation for Writing (suspend).
