Anemone Actiniaria is a new project by me and David Pirrò, a hybrid beast between artistic research and post-electronic performance praxis. We are looking into new ways to understand the algorithmic coupling of two systems that we develop as a form of self-propelled material processes. We are excited to have been invited for a residency at ZKM this summer where we will both contribute to a concert of the EASTN European Art-Science-Technology Network, as well as develop new live pieces that focus on the projection of the multiplicity inherent in algorithms onto multi-channel configurations.
ALMAT in collaboration with BEK and Notam Norway are hosting a workshop-in-exposition. Deadline 23 February.
Algorithmic double-piece ‘Traumcloud’ to feature in 17 Feb radio show by Justin Winkler and based on a project by Robert Desnos.
The project auditively maps the city, using our bodies as instruments and an algorithmic generator of radio pieces. The prize is awarded on March 7.
In January we moved into a great new studio space which will be called ‘Reagenz - Raum für künstlerische Experimente’ (space for artistic experiments).
